Frequently Asked Questions
How long have you been publishing?
The Town Planner network is celebrating it’s 25th year in the publishing business! The calendar has proven to have a very long shelf life. Mark Rodeffer has been publishing the local editions in the upstate of SC since 2009. Expansion to include Greenville is underway for 2012, and Greer in 2013.
How is the calendar distributed?
The calendars are delivered to residents free of charge by the USPS to all households in our distribution areas.
Where do the photos come from?
The photos in your calendar are selected by each individual publisher. They reflect the community’s lifestyle, architecture, and scenery. We welcome submissions from local photographers, both professional and amateur.
How can I get my photos published in the calendar?
You may submit photos for consideration directly to your local publisher. We are interested in subjects that have a wide appeal and tie into your local community. We are always on the look out for photos tying into seasons and holidays, and of community events, local sports, nature, architecture, and wildlife. We do require a signed release authorizing us to print the photo and use it in marketing materials. Submission deadline is May 1st each year.
